Refund Policy

1. Summary

TechStackJobs offers a 14-day refund window on initial paid plan subscriptions (Starter and Pro). After 14 days, subscription fees are non-refundable and no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

This policy applies to all paid plans purchased on the Platform. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor; we remain the merchant of record.

2. 14-day refund window

You may request a full refund of your initial paid plan purchase within 14 days of the original transaction date by emailing contact@techstackjobs.work.

Eligible refund requests are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Bank processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or payment provider.

  • The refund window applies to your first paid billing period on Starter or Pro (monthly or annual).
  • Refunds are not available for subsequent renewal payments after the initial 14-day window.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days within an already-paid billing period.

3. Cancellation vs refund

Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are two separate actions.

Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancellation alone does not issue a refund for the current period.

To request a refund within the 14-day window, you must email us in addition to (or instead of) cancelling.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at contact@techstackjobs.work within 14 days of your purchase. Please include:

  • The email address associated with your TechStackJobs account
  • The approximate date of purchase
  • The order or transaction ID from your receipt email
  • A brief reason for the refund (optional, but helps us improve)

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method through our third-party payment processor.

5. Exceptions & non-refundable cases

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made more than 14 days after the initial purchase date
  • Requests for subscription renewals (only the first paid billing period is eligible)
  • Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service, including fraudulent listings, ghost postings, or abusive behavior
  • Cases of suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, or repeated refund requests across multiple accounts

In disputed cases, we will work with you in good faith to find a resolution. If we deny a refund and you disagree, you may dispute the charge with your card issuer or bank, who can initiate a formal chargeback review.

6. EU, UK & other statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits the statutory consumer rights of customers located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions whose laws grant non-waivable consumer protections, including any applicable right of withdrawal or cooling-off period for digital services.

Where local law grants you stronger refund rights than this policy, those local rights apply.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us at contact@techstackjobs.work before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Filing a fraudulent chargeback while continuing to use the service may result in account suspension and recovery of disputed funds through our payment provider.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers of material changes via email.

The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
